Graphic design
As the in-house graphic designer at Dzul Ink Lounge, I helped shape how the studio showed up publicly—online, in client conversations, and through finished tattoo work. My role supported the full journey from first impression to final piece, ensuring the brand felt confident, cohesive, and trustworthy at every touchpoint.
Through social media design, photo editing, marketing assets, and tattoo design development, I helped translate the studio’s artistry into visuals that invited engagement and made the work approachable for both new and returning clients.

01 Marketing and content creation
Social media became a primary entry point for potential clients. The goal was to present the work in a way that felt intentional and elevated—helping viewers quickly understand the studio’s style, quality, and point of view.
By designing and compositing imagery that highlighted real tattoos on real people, the content built credibility and emotional connection. The result was a feed that felt curated rather than crowded, encouraging viewers to pause, explore, and imagine themselves in the space.
02 Tattoo design pitches
Tattoo mockups played a critical role in client communication. Clear, well-presented concepts helped clients visualize placement, scale, and flow—reducing uncertainty and building confidence before the appointment.
These mockups supported smoother consultations, aligned expectations, and helped the art director focus conversations on refinement rather than clarification. For clients, the experience felt more collaborative and reassuring.
03 Tattoo design and photography
I designed final tattoo artwork with real-world application in mind—ensuring pieces translated cleanly from concept to skin. After completion, I photographed and edited the tattoos to accurately represent the work, creating assets the studio could confidently share and archive.
These images reinforced the studio’s professionalism and attention to detail, while also serving as lasting documentation of the artists’ work—strengthening both marketing efforts and portfolio development.
04 Reflection
This project highlights my approach to in-house design as a strategic partner in the client experience. By supporting both visibility and clarity, the work helped Dzul Ink Lounge communicate its value more effectively and deepen connections with its audience.
Design, in this context, wasn’t about aesthetics alone—it was about helping people feel informed, confident, and excited at every step of the process.
